The wind

The wind blew and the storm poofed,
Sent a wave of dried leaves hurtling down the lane,
The clouds were forced to shift,
By the force of the mighty wind.

The wind howled like a dragon,
When it was angered by the living,
Left the world in a state of devastation,
Causing irreparable damage.

It blew with the force of a million elephants,
Tarnishing houses and blowing away roofs from above the head,
Left stomachs empty with people looking for shelter,
But what was done is done.
