Father's Day

I am the Elder child and the only daughter of my parents. Everyone tells me that I am my dad's princess. I think that is true. I believe that mom is a pillar of family and dad is a backbone of family. I have seen my dad working very hard for us. We never appreciate our dad's hardwork and take him for granted. I am sure therefore this day is dedicated to all the fathers when we can thank them for all the wonderful moments they provide to their family selflessly. Few lines dedicated to Father's day A day for yourself to relax A day to have fun, to sit in the sun. The third Sunday of June, for all fathers is a great boon. A father works day and night, and makes sacrifices contentedly, To ensure that their family is happy and have  everything they need. All fathers should take rest as Father's day is a well earned break, As they sweat and work for our sake. So to all the Fathers of the world, I say Happy Father's Day!!

My visit to Germany (Munich)- School Exchange Program

My visit to Sabel school Munich, Germany is unforgettable and unique .The moment we the group of nine students accompanied by a young and enthusiastic teacher landed in the country of architecture and motor, we knew that many surprises awaited us. We were welcomed by our hosts on the airport which was an unexpected but a warm gesture for me atleast. After a quick breakfast we went to Sabel School. It was a well-designed structure, the first imprint in my mind. The interactions with the teachers and children made me feel comfortable and like family. The best part of the first day was the group photograph. During the stay, the days were well planned and were executed gainfully for us. We worked on a project on architecture and visited various historical and renowned monuments. Marienplatz, also known as the town’s square, was one of the places we visited. The English Garden is a huge park with a canal for surfing. We also visited the Nymphenburg castle which was made in the 17 th

My feelings when I was told that I was going to Germany

The thought of travelling to new places leaves us enthralled and full of excitement.I was too when my mother told me that she was going to send me to Germany for a school exchange programme .I was speechless.I was on cloud nine!My ears rang with those words the entire day.Germany is a beautiful place. The architecture is intricate and there are many places to visit as well. That very day I started researching about Germany. My brothers told me not to count my chickens before they hatched. Why would they say so?That was because we had to submit a form(which I of course did not have)and give it to the teacher. And the bad news? The last date had already gone.I had not taken this problem into consideration.I began to fret and panic.I instructed myself to stay calm.I resolved that I would get the form first thing tomorrow, get it filled, take the money on the next working day that was Monday and voila!I would be going to Germany. The next day,I went to get the form with one of my friends I cross

A Birthday Party

Last week, on Friday I went to my best friend's birthday party in Noida. When I came out of my house, the gentle breeze ruffled my hair and the leaves of the trees rustled lightly, making a pleasant sound much like the waves of the sea lashing on the side of a cliff. I wished that the party was out in the open. But no such luck. It was inside the society club. The car ride was exhausting. But we finally reached the party after an hour or so. We walked inside the club. It was full of pink and white balloons, my friend's favorite colors. Streamers lined the ceiling. The club was huge. Everyone ran and rushed inside the club. I spotted my best friend clothed in a spotless gleaming blue gown. Her hair were adorned in a silver crown made of white beads and sequins. She looked glamorous, like a supermodel. I ran upto her and hugged her tightly. We had not met in a long time. Later, we started playing several games. Some of which I won and some I lost. After the games, we w

Endangered Animals

Once the animal kingdom had animals a plenty, With plant life nimble and dainty. But that was decades ago, There are not enough animals left in this century though. There numbers are declining , That's because of deforestation, development and mining . Many have become extinct , And there is no sign of their instinct . Animals are wonderful creatures, But they are getting killed by poachers. They need to be saved, Otherwise their presence will be much craved.

Independence

Independence is like soaring in the sky with our own wings, It was something which freedom fighters craved most  of all things. Now let me tell you a story, India was called the golden bird and went down in history, For it's flora and glory. Now the British did something which was very wrong indeed. And you can say that they planted a war seed. It got water and air and became a huge tree. It caused many wars and fights, Every Indian fought for their human rights. But some years later India was blessed, When Mahatma Gandhi grew he cared for each and every Indian. He stopped all the wars by using non-violence, We should all remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters, And indeed it was 15 August 1947. We should all pay tribute and pray, For that India which has made us happy and gay.
