The Honest Boy
Mr. Dubblin was an old yet a rich man. He was a businessman and lived in Paris. Despite his old age, Mr. Dubblin he loved to travel. Hence, he had met many types of people and also knew many languages. He was a loyal man but doubted everything he saw. One day, he was on a visit to India and decided to use a train to go to the national capital from the north of the country. During the journey, a young but handicapped man came to him with a box of shoe polish. “Do you want me to polish your shoes sir?” asked the boy. Getting suspicious of the boy, Mr. Dubblin shook his head. One of the passengers sitting next to Mr. Dubblin took pity and offered the boy five rupees. Offended, the boy shouted, “ I’m no beggar !”.One passenger called the boy over and asked him to polish his shoes.
